BULK BILLED COVID TESTING CLINIC 19/12/2020

BULK BILLED COVID TESTING CLINIC will be running from 19/12/2020 12:30pm to 3:00pm.

Due to the recent positive case of COVID-19 in Eight Mile Plains, Medsana Medical will be running a BULK BILLED COVID-19 Testing Clinic TOMORROW.

Queensland public health alert details:

The following people will be contacted by our contact tracers, asked to come forward for testing immediately and quarantine for 14 days from Wednesday 16 December 2020:

  • Passengers from rows 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 on Virgin flight VA925 on Wednesday 16 December 2020;
  • Close contacts from the restaurant at The Glen Hotel – 24 Gaskell St, Eight Mile Plains – on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

The following people must monitor their health, come forward for testing if they develop any symptoms, and isolate until they receive their results:

  • All other passengers from Virgin flight VA925 on Wednesday 16 December 2020.
  • Anyone who attended the Glen Hotel on 16 December after 11.30am on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

1. Checking when you can receive your COVID-19 vaccine

To find out when you are eligible to receive the vaccine, visit https://covidvaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker. 

This will tell you which phase of the rollout you are in.

2. Booking your COVID-19 vaccination appointment

When it is your turn to get vaccinated, you can call us on 07 3852 4878 to book your appointments to get your first and second doses of the vaccine. 

You can also book online on our website, or come to Medsana Medical Clinic. Make sure you book an appointment for your first and second doses of the vaccine. Please call us if you need to confirm what the timing should be between the appointments.

3. Getting ready for your appointment

Please do not come to your vaccination appointment:

  • if you are feeling unwell with fever, cough, runny nose or other symptoms that could be from COVID-19
  • if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or have tested positive for COVID-19
  • if you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19, or
  • if you are in quarantine.

If you have had another vaccine in the 14 days before your COVID-19 vaccine appointment, please let us know as we may need to reschedule your appointment.

If you cannot make it to your vaccination appointment, please contact us to arrange a new appointment.
