BULK BILLED COVID TESTING CLINIC will be running from 08/01/2021-09/01/2020 (Friday to Saturday).

Due to the recent positive case of COVID-19 in Eight Mile Plains, Medsana Medical will be running a BULK BILLED COVID-19 Testing Clinic TODAY and TOMORROW.

Queensland public health alert details:

The Queensland Government is asking the Brisbane community to monitor their health and get tested following the identification of a positive case in a quarantine hotel employee.

The patient was unknowingly infectious from 2 January 2021 and tested positive for COVID-19 on 6 January 2021.

Early information on the patient’s movements is available below. Those who have been to these locations during these time periods, regardless of whether they have symptoms, are asked to come forward for testing and isolate until they receive their results.

Critically, even if a negative test result is received, people are asked to continue to monitor for symptoms and get retested if necessary.

  • Saturday 2 January – 7am – Train from Altandi station to Roma street
  • Saturday 2 January – 4pm – Train from Central Station to Altandi station
  • Sunday 3 January – 11am -12pm – Woolworths, Calamvale North
  • Tuesday 5 January – 7.30am – 8am – Coles, Sunnybank Hills
  • Tuesday 5 January – 8am – 8.15am – Newsagent, Sunnybank Hills Shopping Town

1. Checking when you can receive your COVID-19 vaccine

To find out when you are eligible to receive the vaccine, visit https://covidvaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker. 

This will tell you which phase of the rollout you are in.

2. Booking your COVID-19 vaccination appointment

When it is your turn to get vaccinated, you can call us on 07 3852 4878 to book your appointments to get your first and second doses of the vaccine. 

You can also book online on our website, or come to Medsana Medical Clinic. Make sure you book an appointment for your first and second doses of the vaccine. Please call us if you need to confirm what the timing should be between the appointments.

3. Getting ready for your appointment

Please do not come to your vaccination appointment:

  • if you are feeling unwell with fever, cough, runny nose or other symptoms that could be from COVID-19
  • if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or have tested positive for COVID-19
  • if you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19, or
  • if you are in quarantine.

If you have had another vaccine in the 14 days before your COVID-19 vaccine appointment, please let us know as we may need to reschedule your appointment.

If you cannot make it to your vaccination appointment, please contact us to arrange a new appointment.
